1950年代、ジャガールクルト社（Jaeger-LeCoultre）のCal.285を搭載したクロノグラフ。
Cal.285は当時、クロノグラフとしては31.7mmという最小径のコンパクトムーブメントの製造に成功したユニヴァーサル・ジュネーブ社の名機になります。　その性能の素晴らしさに格別の評価を得て、スイスの数多くの時計メーカー(IWC, ROLEX, Omegaなど)がこのムーブメントを採用しました。

スイスでも数少ないマニファクチュール（ムーブメントから全てのパーツを自社製造する時計メーカーのこと）として知られるルクルト社で唯一作り得なかったのがクロノグラフタイプ。　当時の時計メーカーは、各国の空軍採用されるためのパイロットウォッチの開発に躍起になっていた時代で、ジャガールクルト社も例外では無く、マニファクチュールとしての威信と誇りを掛けてこのCal.285を採用しました。

径31.7mmのムーブメントに対して外径36.5mmですから、外装の18金無垢ケースに相当厚みを持たせた、アンティークウォッチとしては重量感ある作りとなっています。さらに、大人びたローズゴールドにシンプルなリーフ針がこの時計の品格を演出しています。

At that time, the Cal.285 was a masterpiece of Universal Geneva which succeeded in manufacturing a movement with the smallest diameter of 31.7mm for a chronograph. Many Swiss watch makers (IWC, ROLEX, Omega, etc.) have adopted this movement because of its excellent performance.

The outer diameter of the case is 36.5mm compared to the 31.7mm diameter movement, so the 18KRG(18K solid rose gold) exterior case is quite thick, making it a heavy antique watch. In addition, mature 18KRG and a simple leaf hand enhance the dignity of this watch.

The association is a national institution that restores and protects British-owned cultural heritage watches and certifies national watchmakers. They are based in Upton Village, Nottinghamshire. Watch technology originated in the Kingdom of the United Kingdom, and even today, about 90% of those who have a qualification as a watch engineer in the United Kingdom have BHI certification or are in the master's program aiming for acquisition. BHI also protects over 1000 watches from the Royal Collection, including minute repeaters and perpetual calendars at Buckingham Palace, and the Big Ben clock tower at Palace of Westminster.
