It is a Mil-spec model that converted the 3rd-generation Seamaster 300 that appeared in 1962 for military-use, and was actually issued by the British Army in 1967.
Mil-spec features and major changes include the T mark on the dial, which indicates tritium luminescence, The spring bar that fixes the strap for reinforcement purposes has been changed to a fixed type, The twist-shaped lugs are thicker than consumer products in consideration of rigidity, The serial code number that indicates the military issue of case back (Army if it starts with W10).
The reference and caliber are Ref.14755-61SC and Cal.550. It is a diversion of the case and movement that had been used up to the second-generation consumer product model and as the naiad crown is adopted. This combination is believed to be the early lot of mil-spec production.
Recently, many counterfeit watches are circulating on overseas sites also making it difficult to judge the authenticity of watches, When watches in good condition come out on the market, they are mostly released by Japanese collectors. This item was purchased from an elderly Japanese collector.

BHI is a watch technician who has completed the master's program of the association and is certified, and is also called a BHI certified person. The association is a national institution that restores and protects British-owned cultural heritage watches and certifies national watchmakers. They are based in Upton Village, Nottinghamshire. Watch technology originated in the Kingdom of the United Kingdom, and even today, about 90% of those who have a qualification as a watch engineer in the United Kingdom have BHI certification or are in the master's program aiming for acquisition. BHI also protects over 1000 watches from the Royal Collection, including minute repeaters and perpetual calendars at Buckingham Palace, and the Big Ben clock tower at Palace of Westminster.
